The Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, a distinguished watch with a second time zone display on an off-centre disc and rotatable Ring Command bezel, is crafted from 18 ct yellow gold with a Champagne-colour dial and an Oyster bracelet. The fixed inverted red triangle on the dial points to the reference time, and the deep red rectangle in one of the 12 windows around the dial indicated the month, a feature of the Saros annual calendar.

The Oyster architecture consists of a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, winding crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Its waterproof to 100 metres and is powered by the Perpetual, mechanical, self-winding, dual time zones, annual calendar calibre 9001 with a precision of -2/+2 sec/day. The bidirectional self-winding movement is wound by a Perpetual rotor and has a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers.
