This remarkable timepiece fuses advanced materials with motorsport‑inspired design cues to deliver a chronograph that looks and feels like a racing machine on the wrist. The case is crafted from green and white Quartz TPT®, a cutting‑edge composite material made from hundreds of fine silica threads bound with resin and machined into shape, giving each example its own distinctive wavy pattern and exceptional lightness and durability. Its compact 38.40 mm diameter and 11.68 mm thickness make it dynamic yet wearable, while the bold colour scheme reflects the spirit and history of the Le Mans Classic event. At the heart of the RM 72‑01 Le Mans Classic is the in‑house automatic Calibre CRMC1 movement, featuring an innovative flyback chronograph mechanism that allows for smooth and rapid timing operations ideal for motorsport timing. The movement boasts a variable inertia balance and a robust 50‑hour power reserve, ensuring precise performance whether the chronograph is in use or not. Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, a chrono function indicator, and stop seconds, all integrated within a skeletonised engine that can be admired through the sapphire caseback.
